Entrance Hall Organization Tips

There are a few specific items that need to be organized in the entrance hall to make things easy for the family. Here are 7 tips to get you started:

#1. Start with a good declutter. Make sure the whole family is involved with this pne. Clear out anything that shouldn't be there. Include any stairways in your declutter.

#2. Make sure you have a good welcome mat. This will reduce the transfer of dirt into the home. Avoid light colors as they show up dirt.

#3. If you have space, get a cabinet for storing shoes near the entrance. Alternatively, use a shoe rack. Have a handy basket for storing slippers.

#4. Get an umbrella stand.

#5. If you have space, get a cabinet for storing coats and jackets in the hall. Out of season coats should be stored somewhere else.

#6. Get a box or basket to store keys near the entrance. Alternatively, use a key rack.

#7. A decent size wall mirror can make the entrance hall seem more spacious. It's also handy for any last minute check of your appearance before you go out.
